Ephrata Meet Info
June 26th
We are headed to Ephrata!
- Pool is the Ephrata City Pool at 780 A Street SE.
- Arrive between 5:00 and 5:30 PM.
- Warmups start at 5:30. Meet starts at 6:00
- Bring Towel, goggles, snacks, water, sunscreen, tents, blankets....
- THEME: Team Colors! Parents and kids, wear Navy Blue and Orange!
- Swim Caps required at meets. Please find Ron Burke at practice tomorrow or at meet if you don't have yours.
- Attached is the events by swimmer name. Full disclosure, this only has the event, not the heat. I am trying to figure that out! You may be able to see the full information in the SwimTopia app as a parent or I will send one as soon as I figure it out! Worst case... just use event.
- Please write the event number and heat on the swimmers forearm for them to reference, In permanent marker!
- Example: swimmer is in event 1C, heat 3 and lane 4.
- You would write: 1C, H3, L4
- Then move down to another line for the next event.
- If you are a returning swimmer to the league, you will see some new changes to how the meet is structured--it is more traditional to year-round swimming with combined ages and genders. Races are organized by previous times and we are trying to make the meets more efficient with combining of age groups. Pay attention--it will look different!
